Review on Caron Simply Solids Medium Acrylic by Shantel Griffin

I ordered 2 pieces in 2 different colors. The Autumn Reds arrived sealed and intact. The whites came unsealed and just rode around in a box with no plastic around it, dirt and junk everywhere, and 1 was clearly used because it was a bit thinner than its mate and the rope was obviously slack. and cut it off and hastily wound it back carelessly. It was as if someone had carefully removed the roll of paper with the name on it, used part of it, tried to rewind it a bit to hide the fact that they were using it a bit, and then slid the paper label back on. is to try to pass it off as new. It's 3/4 the size of another white, and the "solider" white seems smaller than the red ones I ordered the same size, so I'm guessing one was used as well. Both whites were dirty. Given that the reds were sealed in plastic and the whites weren't, and at least one of them had some really sloppy wear, I'm not happy. I don't have time to mess with returns and such so I just use them and hope I have enough for projects I've been working on. Somebody needs better quality control on these things and they need to make sure they don't sell things as 'new' when they are obviously used! and at least one of them had really sloppy wear, i'm not happy.
