To be honest I didn't even know what an M2 SSD was until I ordered an MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon Mobo. Did a little research and found that they are MUCH faster than SATA HDDs and SATA SSDs since they connect directly to the mobile device. Did some more research and compared the prices with the Samsung (EVO) version. I was able to buy a 1TB M2 from TeamGroup/T-Force in the mid-range data rates because it was only $20-$30 more (at the time). I will never go back to SATA again! My operating system (Win10) used to take 3-5 minutes to fully boot everything (even when running fan control and RAM defragmentation programs), but since I switched to M2 SSD it takes less than a minute! I can run programs right after entering the password! Be sure to buy a dedicated heatsink for this - I have a Carlote ARGB LED heatsink. There is a very small strip of light above the GPU and GPU holder, but directly below the massive CPU heatsink with dual fans in the video and third image.
