The Winterberry pattern is very pretty. I think you could even use it all year round. This oiler is of high quality and has a good weight. I wish it had a pen and that's why I'm only giving 4 stars. The lid is heavy. After my bun is buttered, you slide the lid back on by grabbing the sides and then pushing for the next person to pick it up afterwards. If you have many guests, it should be wiped off often or just left open. If Pfaltzgraff made a top handle butter dish I would certainly choose them, but since they don't I'm happy with what I have and have had compliments on this pattern from my guests.
