Review on KuRoKo Case Cover with Hand Strap and Pen Holder for Remarkable 1 (Not Compatible with Remarkable 2) by Kelsey Brown

I went crazy when I first bought my ReMarkable tablet. I purchased a leather folio from the manufacturer's website. I bought a Revain Capra leather ReMarkable tablet case. Both are good, if a bit impractical for everyday use. I'm part of an agile team, so I go to meetings every day. Other times you cannot use the table unless you take it out of the case. So you either don’t use the case all day or you take it out and put it back in several times a day. I know FWP, but it sucks. Enter KuroKo. It fits the device perfectly. The magnets in the lid are strong enough to keep the lid closed. There is an elastic band on the sleeve of the pen to secure an overpriced pen. There is an integrated hand holder in the front cover. I've only used it a few times but I appreciate it's there. I bought this case in January 2019. The reason I am writing this review now is because this case saved my device today. This morning I was a bit late and busy. I put the device on the car roof together with a coffee cup. About halfway to work, driving at about 70 mph on my local interstate while sipping coffee, I looked at the empty passenger seat and realized I'd left my tablet on the roof of the car. My heart sank. I had a vision of my tablet on the road somewhere between my house and my current location, smashed under the wheels of hundreds of cars during rush hour. I reached out and slid the sun visor back onto the sunroof and there it was! My tablet was stuck to the hatch where I had left it. The faux leather used in this case feels almost sticky. It's a mix of vinyl and leather. It had enough natural friction to keep it from sliding off the roof. I have a windshield on the front of the sunroof, so reduced drag probably played a big part. But I have no doubt that if I had used one of my bougies, a leather case, my investment would have been lost.
