Looks exactly like the photo, no strands sticking out

Looks exactly like the photo, so no surprises. There are also no stray threads, which is not uncommon with this kind of thing. The zipper seam disappears when closed, but the small zipper still dangles. I have used 20 inch pillow inserts which give me nice, plump pillows with no wrinkles. I think 18 inch inserts can soften them. They are linen, a durable fabric so I expect them to wear well over time.
