Bought these for traveling to leave my expensive Japanese brushes at home. Very happy with the quality and performance. They are soft and dense and do what they are supposed to do. The handles and tips are durable and beautifully finished. Washed twice and not shed. I'm not sure why some reviewers said these handles are short like travel brushes. They are medium sized as you can see in my comparison photos. The M04 is a kind of all-purpose brush that can be used to apply and blend eyeshadow onto the eyelids or in the crease. Next to him I showed Wayne Goss 26S, Real Techniques Base Shadow, Chikuhodo T-7 and Royal & Langnickel BX-65. M04 is the densest of them all. It's a bit thicker than the 26S and T-7, so you don't get as much detail with it. M05 is designed for blending pleats. Next to him are Sigma E38, Wayne Goss 04 and Sonia G Blender Pro. It is denser and softer than E38 and blends better. I applied the Sydney Grace eyeshadows to bare skin with my pinky and blended each pattern for 40 seconds. The top is applied with Sigma E38 shadows, the bottom is Texamo M05. The M06 is a bit small for full lid application, but great for inner and outer lids. , and Real Techniques Smudge Brushes. The M07 is smaller than my smallest pencil brush but a bit thick for eyeliner if you don't want it messy. I like under the eyes. My Goss pencil brush might be a little rough, but the M07 isn't. Also shown are Wayne Goss 05, Real Techniques Pointed Liner and Real Techniques Precision Liner. M08 - Eyebrow and eyelash brush. The angled brush is quite thin and can be used for both eyeliner and brows. The coil is a little stiffer than the Real Techniques but still comfortable enough to comb through brows. Overall I am satisfied with this set. The brushes all seem to be of the same density and since they are all made from the same fiber they have the same resilience so they don't have a set of well made natural fiber brushes. However, you can definitely get a good impression with it and the price is great. I would recommend it to everyone.
