This works very well. I like that it is collapsible and easy to store. The shell is slightly warped, which annoys me, but doesn't affect performance in any way. I used to put popcorn kernels in a brown paper bag to pop them. This works much better. It's easy to use as you put up to 1/4 of the grains in the bottom, cover with a lid, then pop in the microwave and you're done. This container allows the popcorn to float evenly and the lid prevents the kernels from falling out. The handles are great as they stay cool enough that you can remove them from the microwave after you inflate them. The container is also great as it has a bowl to add any toppings you like. The pictures are misleading as 1/4 cup of popcorn fills just below the top of the bowl (so you still have room to toss or stir the popcorn so it doesn't fall out). To be honest I don't want it to overflow as I'm not sure how you would add toppings and it's easy and quick enough to just pour it into another bowl and start a new batch. The solution is easy to clean and I didn't notice the smell on mine. All in all it works great. It even allows you to clap and is a great way to make a quick snack. I'm wrong, I recommend it.
