After reading positive reviews, I bought this rubber for Skoda Octavia 1.8T 180 hp in size 205/55 R16. First impressions, soft and quiet. But soon there was no limit to the disappointment of rubber. Handling is poor, it pulls in a rut, with very dynamic acceleration on asphalt, the car literally scours so that you only have time to catch the trajectory with the wheel. Some stunning confidence on the ice and snowy track was not felt. But the most important thing for the season is minus one wheel (sidewall rupture) and two more not frail hernias and this is all from the "ordinary" St. Petersburg pits. Total for the season one live wheel out of four. When buying these tires in a set, you need to take not four tires, but five, one in reserve. Of all the stickies I've ridden, these are the most overrated and problematic. I put two stars only for show-offs from this brand, there is nothing more to pay in this case. The important point is that all of the above refers to the specific size and vehicle on which they were installed and this is a very important factor. Perhaps on a full drive and in a different size, all the shortcomings I have described will be leveled. - I decided to supplement the review of 11/27/21. The season has not really begun yet, and another hernia on the car, this time the record holder among those already available in terms of size. The size of a fist! To be honest, I have never seen such hernias, but Conti never ceases to amaze. I put a patch for 1000r and moved it to the back, put the wheel forward with a slightly smaller hernia. The choice is not great of four wheels with three hernias. In fact, this wheel needs to be changed, but buying a tire once a season is not a pleasant pleasure, given the cost of this rubber product No. 1. Almost 10for one tire! 10t. R Carl! And this is for the 16th radius! Now it’s a dilemma, whether to finish a season on these miracle tires or completely change the kit to another manufacturer. The story with tires of this brand is completely closed for me. No more Continental!
