When I installed a ceiling fan in my bedroom 15 years ago, I chose a fan with white blades with chrome tips on the rounded ends of the blades. While this worked well when lying in bed, I found the chrome to be distracting. I also wanted the fan to be mounted closer to the ceiling because the motor housing and the sphere covering the bulb were too low. searched. I found this fan in one of those decorating apps. It was expensive compared to other places but it fit everything I wanted. It's all white with shiny plastic blades that are easy to clean. Has a profile near the ceiling. The first two speeds are completely silent. The higher the speed, the less, but the noise is still quite low. The only drawback is the strange bluish glow of the LED. I would prefer warmer light. Since I won't be using it as the main light in the room, preferring the bedside lamps, this odd glow will only be on for a short time. I would order this product again. I installed it professionally. Removing the old fan and installing this fan took about 40 minutes. Please note the remote control does not come with a 12v battery, I found one at Lowe.
