This large album is very bright. Love it - I've even ordered another one in a different color and pattern - but it really borders on tacky with a foil-like lid that catches the light. It looks like a photo album equivalent to a coffee table. It draws attention and makes you want to. The pockets (three horizontal, two vertical) on each side are a little thin. I think it would be better if all the pockets on the page were positioned the same way i.e. all landscape or portrait but I can work with that setup. I would also love to have some space left for notes or ID cards. I miss my old clunky albums with inserts for people's names in photos, but I ditched them in favor of photo booths many years ago. Only to find that no one is looking at the photo in the drawer. So I went back to the albums. There are 600 photos here and I have about 4000 of them so I can say I will be ordering more. Luckily, it comes in four colors and four patterns, allowing me to organize most of my photos without repetition.
