Appearances are deceptive; Dockers is a high-end brand, but the metarials used say it's 70 percent leather, which I find hard to believe. I think it's made from 70 percent recycled content and 10 percent shell leather. My braided belt only lasted 3 months, then it started tearing after the middle section. I ordered black and brown. what a waste. The price depends on the place of production plus shipping. I have many Dockers belts and none look like this one. act like an imitation.
