I recently had my Electric bike stole while I had it parked outside of our cabin on a trip. It totally ruined my trip and hurt that I lost an expensive EBike. I was using a thick cable lock that I used all the time on my daily errand rides. The difference was I left my bike this time for a longer period of time over night. SO for my new Ebike Ive upgraded my lock to a Seatylock. This lock is heavy steel and is said to be cut, drill, and weather resistant. The things I liked about it was it was oversized U lock. This lets me bolt my bike to a lot of different things. I can reach a good distance to any bike rack or pole. I really like the rubber coating that covers the whole lock. It doesnt scratch or scrape my bike paint. The key is simple to use and to access. They give you 3 large keys and a registration code to access more keys in the event you loose all your keys. Because if you do your are going to have a horrific time getting your bike off whatever you locked it too. The lock opens and closes with ease. I don't have to struggle to get it to work. Overall im very pleased with the performance of this lock and will absolutely use it. I think its heavy, but if it means you can't get my investment im ok with the extra weight.
