We use a black cable to connect the bedroom desktop to the modem on the living room desktop. We've run it around every corner in the living room, around the corner and down the hall, and around the corner into the bedroom with ease. It sits nicely and evenly on the hardwood floor along the baseboards and I didn't even need zip ties to hold it in place. Very thin, flexible and easy to use. It's so narrow and flat that it's invisible. It comes with 20 white plastic cable clips and 4 velcro straps as indicated. As another reviewer mentioned, the roll can fall off the first time you open it and get tangled right away. Make sure you immediately use something as a spindle in the middle of the twisted line, e.g. your hand, or tie the spool on one side with Velcro straps taped together so they are long enough to wrap around one side of the spool to hold it. from sticking. However, it won't tangle or twist if you place it where you want it.
