I am a very skeptical long time aquarist, I very rarely buy things online, I took a chance it was only worth the cost of a hamburger and fries so I had nothing to do lose, except for a few pounds, seemed a little wobbly at first but I saw potential in this item, the atomizer fittings were a bit loose but that was an easy fix, I removed the bottom cap and replaced the sponge with a rougher one. one first added a little more biomedium (lava pebbles) as a sponge. I temporarily placed it in front of the 36 gallon bow without the bottom cap to allow less suction from the intake port and plugged it in more through a sponge (small shrimp), I was very impressed! the surface flow was surprisingly good and then reduced the flow rate, SUGAR! This will stay here forever, I've ordered another one for a 20 gallon shrimp tank that I'm collecting.
