I didn't use the switch. So I only compare it to the joycon. It's actually easy to set up and all the buttons work just fine. The only downside would be the left directional button. If you're not moving far in walk mode, it's harder to get to where you're going than with a joycon, and even harder if you want to turn around while walking. For this, the joycon is much simpler. The reason is probably the longer joystick on this controller and also that it's stiffer than the joystick. I would like a controller that works in different games, it might not work well in games where you have to walk carefully instead of running. It's also a good gamepad.
