Can't control the sound - turns itself off
Overall I'm quite happy with this headset, but it has one fatal flaw: about a quarter of the calls I can't turn off the sound myself because the headset mutes as soon as i turn it on. This also happens when I use a mouse and turn off the sound on my computer. The problem only occurs with Skype. I tried getting technical support from Poly but they were only interested in whether the specific unit I received was defective. An internet search shows this to be a common problem and as I only have the problem when using Skype they have determined that this is not the case and will not even offer a refund.
