My VitaMix 5200 was out of warranty after a few months (of course!) when it started to growl when I tried to use it. My blender is used relatively little and that shouldn't have happened. I knew it was the cutter block because the machine was silent when I turned it on without the jar and with the dry blades jar in place. Anyway, I ordered this original spare part, it was delivered the next day and again everything is fine. works smoothly. I already had a wrench to secure the assembly and I recommend using it.
