My back hurts every time I bend down to get my 2 week old newborn out but I really like how it's flush with the bed because you can't reach all the way out of the bed must just to test the baby. That's why I'm keeping it. It's very easy to maneuver around the house while sleeping and I feel like she's safer in this bassinet as it's easier to keep an eye on her during the day when the height is so low. She sleeps very well in it. I also love how it's designed with a raised end to make breathing easier while baby sleeps. I ordered another mattress and a corner pillow to put under the mattress for extra rise and padding.
