these headphones have really great sound quality for the price and they block out almost all the noise around you. It's without active noise cancellation, I think it's just part of the design. In my experience other people don't listen to your music either. I've had these headphones for 7 months now and just had my first problem - the cable was completely worn out and one earbud lost connection. However, I can just buy a replacement cable as the headphones themselves are detachable from the cable. Until now I never realized how important this is and I am glad that this is another good side of these headphones. I would recommend these headphones to anyone looking for cheap wired headphones without sacrificing quality.
