I had to drill a hole for a detergent dispenser in a sink I bought from Ikea. The sink is made of composite material - 80% ground quartz and 20% acrylic. It's very difficult, but this piece went smoothly. Trying not to push too hard, I let the weight of the bit do its job, just making sure the teeth stayed in contact with the surface. I used a handheld vacuum to remove the powdery slag as it formed. The job took about five minutes with no visible damage to the teeth and a nice clean hole. Most attachments like this cost $30 or more - this one was exceptional value. If you look closely, including the spring-loaded pilot attachment, you'll be amazed that it can be made, packaged, sold, and shipped to you for less than $11.
