Late one night I got a call from my college sister who drives my old '96 Accord and said the brake lights on the Accord wouldn't go out. I asked them to pull the brake light fuse to keep the battery from draining and put an end to it so I could do a little research the next day. Googling, I found this little derailleur stopper to be the culprit (she found some old broken plastic on the floor under the brake pedal). This is a very simple installation that takes less than 10 minutes and completely solves the problem. There are many videos on YouTube, so do yourself a favor and fix it yourself to save some money. My only criticism of this is that I wish they would make it out of metal so it doesn't break again. So! Can't complain about the cheap solution.
