later As other reviewers have noted, these stamps do not protrude far enough from the ink pad to avoid creating a rectangular stamp outline in addition to the stamp image. Real pain. Also, the foam adhesive holding the rubber stamp to the wood base is useless, and the entire rubber image and foam backing easily detaches from the wood on about half the stamps. Half of the stamps have black foam adhesive and half have white adhesive foil. Neither die has sufficient clearance to produce predictable stamping results. Very unhappy. Some of them I will remount rather than undo because the images themselves are very nice and I don't want to remount them just because they are badly mounted.
