These things are great. I don't know how important the brand is, but you can't beat the functionality. If you can't tell from the pictures, the larger end snaps around a wire while the thinner end is a "socket" for standard spade shaped connectors. This allows you to attach these little pins to the wire and add another wire later. It also allows you to connect and disconnect cables when you want to test or debug the system. Because you only need to connect 1 cable at a time, you're more likely to attach it without the cable slipping out, and you don't need 3 hands. I didn't use all 100, but out of the 15 I did, each made good contact.
