I use this cable with my Nintendo Wii with an OREI HDMI adapter (this is for convenience and does not improve quality over components as it does not ). The adapter sticks out bluntly 3-4 inches from the back of the Wii, which means it is subjected to an extreme amount of torque on the connector from the cable. I made sure to buy a flex cable to use with the adapter to save the odds. Breakage is kept to a minimum and this cable is much more flexible than my Monoprice 28AWG HDMI cables. I had to cut some plastic off one side of the connector because OREI placed the HDMI and 3.5mm audio jacks too close together. ...I also had to cut some of the plastic on my audio cable. This is OREI's fault in the first place and I would say that this cable has a very reasonable area so I will not be taking a single star off of this cable. I had a very thin audio cable, I probably didn't have to cut anything. I use the adapter with 1080p. Not 3D, not 4K or whatever, tests HDMI bandwidth limitations, but everything works fine for what I'm using it for anyway.
