Nice. Really well done - Swedish company. I ordered it from Revain and it arrived within a week with free UK postage! Watch the movie: [.] I have many other (cheaper) tape measures, but this is my favorite. It doesn't have a slide tab on the end to make measuring inside and out easier, so you don't have to worry about slot wear and inaccuracy. It has a short fold band to register the inside. It has a very secure lock that is always locked unless you push the button (METAL!). When it's locked, you can't let it slip off. It retracts really well and you can actually get replacement straps. There are small vertical lobes at the ends of the anterior and posterior ligaments, as well as on the front of the body. The idea is to take a measurement, place it on the workpiece, and scribble a perfect copy of the measurement onto the workpiece without reading anything. With this use, reading errors are excluded. The only thing is that it is metric. Since I enjoy using it, it might encourage me to use the metric system in my tree work. Using inches is acceptable to within 1/4" or so, but less than that or some calculation (e.g. subtracting 4 7/32" from 6'10 5/16". I know that is crazy!), The metric system gives a lot more meaning. You just have to get used to it. UPDATE 9/26/16: I still love it! Make multiple drawers and use metric measurements much better. Cut to millimeters. Subtract drawer width. It is much easier to use than fractions. UPDATE 6/28/20. Still loving this thing! I use it for cutting strips now and I can cut accurately. Still holds up well. Still blocks without the tape moving AT ALL.
