Click on the musical note icon to scroll through the sounds (nature sounds, some music sounds). Click the Frequency icon to scroll through the white noise frequencies (my favorite). Click the "Fan" icon to scroll through the fan noises (not as good as I expected, but doable). Volume up/down icons. Press the timer icon to set the time (30, 60, 90) when you want to use the timer. Click on the light icon to turn the light on - 3 levels of brightness or off. A separate ringtone will play as you scroll through the sounds, letting you know you've heard them all. Nice gesture. Ultimately, I prefer the real fan sound that I installed in our bedroom for everyday use. natural sound. But this mechanical/digital style of Kascimu is great for taking to the office or elsewhere in the house, or if you prefer something more than just white noise. There are options, and probably something for everyone. I really like that this one looks more like smart home products (like a dot). I use noise machines to drown out traffic noise, my husband's games, or overhear his gamer friends talking too much. I'm distracted and annoyed by noise and I just wish it was a little covered up. It definitely helps. Helps me relax and focus.
