While I don't typically recommend drinks near electronics, this table has room for both. I would definitely fill the drink in a leak-proof cup with a lid. You can sit comfortably on your bed and paint, do some work, paint your nails or do whatever you want. This is a beautifully crafted table that folds away when not in use for easy storage under your bed, near it or somewhere else.
