this is a very good BAG. I'm giving it four stars instead of five because it's listed as a bag/briefcase and I ordered it because it's what I needed. I needed a smaller but not tiny messenger style briefcase. I am a wedding planner and needed something to store all the contents of my regular purse, a tablet, a binder, business cards and other wedding related business documents. Something that would look classier than my normally disorganized and cluttered wallet. The sizes are listed in the item listing and are a bit misleading. It is written that the height is 11 inches, the width is 8 inches. If you look at the photo you can see that the bag is wider than it is high. For some reason I assumed it was big enough to hold an 8 and 1/2 for 11 docs and folders and the dimensions on it were drawn on the wrong side. The bag is wider than it is high, the picture is accurate. BUT the whole item is about the size of a good sized bag. it really fits in my current wallet. It's very pretty but not as big as I need. And then I opened it up and put in my tablet and my briefcase (which holds those 5X7 notebooks) and my wallet fits in the front pocket and it was perfect. Shoulder bag unless you are super skinny and small. But I really like it so I'll keep it to myself and just make sure nothing I have to bring to the wedding is bigger than my portfolio. Maybe this is a sign that I'm carrying too much stuff that I don't need. LOL Bottom line: much smaller than expected but looks very stylish.
