They are excellent. Nikon 7239 7x50 Extreme. I bought them to look at the night sky and they were brilliant, they made the blacks even blacker in the bright moonlight. Pretty easy to handle so it helped with meteor and moon gazing. I wanted 10x50's but they weren't just for me, my spouse needed to use them too so lightness was a requirement. They had to be durable when I hike, mountain bike and let others use them. We went fishing on the Sacramento River and in very bright sunlight the clarity was excellent. There is some variation at the edges of the feathers - I think that's it - when I watched the buzzards in very bright sunlight. But away from the sun, they were crisp and sharp. Watching dragonflies above the water from about 300 feet was excellent, you could see their colors. Super sharp and excellent for what I wanted especially for the low price and with waterproofing, impact resistance and quality. I will definitely get another pair of Nikons.
