Based on reviews on photo forums, I bought this one. Yes, it's slightly faster than my cheaper USB 3 card reader, but it's not lightning fast. It could be my computer (iMac 5k 2015 with 32GB RAM). Maybe it's my USB sticks (San Disk Extreme 95 Mb/s). I haven't tried my 128Mbps CF cards. I would not recommend this reader to anyone who asked for it.
