I was looking for a hard glasses case for my better half. He wears very large glasses which are very expensive ($1200) due to his glaucoma. Finding a hard case that wouldn't break his glasses if he dropped them was my number one goal when purchasing this case. So far he is very happy with this case. This is a great hard case for glasses. It's aluminum, but not flimsy aluminum, which bends very easily. My significant other has used this case for both his oversized glasses and giant sunglasses and they both fit very well in this case. If you want to measure your glasses, they should be no more than 6 inches long, 2.5 inches top to bottom, and 1.2 inches thick. The interior of this case is black and feels like soft velvet. The material does a great job of protecting the glasses from breakage, but it also keeps the lenses from getting scratched. Unlike some of the cheaper glasses cases I've bought in the past, the velvet material in this case doesn't shed and the lenses don't pill. The color of this glasses case is a bit disappointing. We were hoping for a light blue case as shown in the picture, but ended up with a violet blue case. The "women" case than the "men" case. My partner still uses the case at work, he just doesn't want the boys to see him with it. It would be perfect for a pair of teenage or teenage glasses due to the color. This suitcase is carried everyday in the doctor's coat cargo pants that my significant other wears. oh work. He loves this business. I think that's because it's the first case that hasn't broken in three months or less. He drops his glasses case 4-6 times a day and the case still looks brand new. We bought this suitcase in October 2017 and hope it will last for many years. This is the perfect eyewear case for those who want protection without paying over $50 for a hard case at an eyewear store. It's very strong, closes securely when closed and I think it's a great color (but I love purple). I wish it was plain black or navy blue which would be a more appropriate color but I am happy with this purchase.
