Sometimes you get what you pay for.

I have tried many bluetooth speakers to save money. Finally, there are ways to increase it a little. I've seen them for several years and couldn't justify spending the money. Since then they have fallen in price. The first thing I sold was that I was waiting at a Verizon store to have my new work phone cloned and found the music playing through their speaker system sounded really good. I figured they must have had a BOSE sound system and found that one of them (just one) sat on a shelf in the center of the showroom, filling the space with what I believe are quality ceiling speakers. While that wasn't enough, I needed sustainability due to my messy work environment. Even the office has magical black shower mud seeping in and messing everything up, and I'm not a big fan of fabric mesh. The case was closed after watching some video reviews on YouTube. One in particular when a guy threw his model into a muddy puddle while she was playing and then washed it down the kitchen sink. That convinced me to use it in my work. I can clean it regularly with a soft dish brush and mild soap. Sound is subjective for humans. I don't think anyone will be happy with speakers this size. You don't get the best in the world in something the size of a 22-ounce beer can. A company puts such an emphasis on bass, but it causes the mids to drop. The other is good for vocals, but the bass is muddy and slurred. I prefer clarity when I know the bass is there, but that doesn't mean I have to feel it to be happy. The downloaded application allows the user to adjust the settings to their liking using the equalizer function. I keep mine on "Closed Space" and it works well in my office that is not restricted. The build looks solid. I didn't think I would use the *slap* function to pause the music. But lo and behold, an incoming call comes in, and it's quicker to pick up the speaker and smack it than having my iPad keep trying to read my fingerprint to pause the streaming app I'm using. As for my streaming app, I signed up for their monthly paid service so I can get the full 320kbps quality on this speaker, that's justice it deserves. Something I noticed while doing my homework is strong feature marketing where you can tie lots of these together for a full house party, not better features. I don't know about most people, but there aren't many (if any) people in my circle who would see the justification for spending that kind of money on a Bluetooth speaker. It has to go from generation to generation if someone has a speaker with a three-digit price but can't pay for the car. To each his own. This little gem makes my favorite part of the day. When the store closes, I'm the only one left undisturbed in the building, come to my zone, and do three hours of administrative work in 45 minutes. All the time I hear the music I choose in really good quality. With three weeks of use, an average of 1-2 hours a day, five days a week, and that's only fifty percent. I've read that some people have had bad luck with the battery life.
