The bottom of the ladder where you insert the rods was not soldered properly, resulting in one of the rod inserts pointing further forward than the other. Now I have a ladder that is slightly warped and unsecured. The base part should be heavier in my opinion, but in general it seems easy to feel really confident. Hopefully this won't affect my kids being able to use it as they are small but I won't be climbing on it again. For over $50, I expect the manufacturer to do something right. If I wanted to risk something going wrong, I'd get a $25 one. One star for me with no room for improvement.
