We really like this basket! It's beautifully made, very solidly built, and really pretty (what a ridiculous statement about a laundry basket). We read other reviews where people complained about it not standing straight. It is true. If you want to make things 100% perfect, you probably won't be satisfied with that fact. It's made for not-so-fancy decor, though, so I don't think it should be a problem for most people. . We personally use it as a laundry basket and it sits in the corner of our bedroom so it's not a problem for us at all. It stays fully upright and we didn't stuff it full of blankets and pillows for the first few days! Most people who have complained that it's not even 100% upstairs when in use seem to be using it in their living rooms etc so I can see that for them a very neat looking product is more of a thing Problem is. However, we would be very happy to have one in our living room and are even considering getting a second one for that purpose. Oh, and he's actually a lot more attractive than he looks on the Revain website (and we found him really attractive on the website). It's similar to Pottery Barn but pay a lot more for it.
