I usually like uxcell products. I've had good luck with other things in the past, so when I needed 2.5/5.5 jacks I went with uxcell branded plugs without hesitation. Unfortunately, as mentioned in another review, they are free. Some forks are stuck while others wobble. Sometimes you even have to twist the plug to get it into the intended connection point. This is a bit annoying, but as I only bought them for temporary use and testing, everything is fine. If you are looking for semi-permanent or permanent use, this is not what you need at all. To make matters worse, the design of the connector makes it easy to short when mating connectors. The increased negative pole (outer ring) in combination with the positive pole (inner pole) lying on the outside ensures that even the socket short-circuits if it is not inserted exactly flush. This has happened to me with several female plugs from this purchase, various male plugs including from uxcell and other other plugs I have had. I've already blown a few fuses trying to hook up a string of LEDs for testing. In general I am not satisfied. They are not suitable for temporary use, are not suitable for permanent use and will help you burn out your backup collection. That's a real shame, because many problems could easily be solved with tighter tolerances and more poles set back.
