This is my second purchase of this remote control. The first worked perfectly for 14 months (12 months warranty) and then failed. I ordered a new one and received what appeared to be a returned item. It was packaged in a plastic bag with batteries installed. First hint. The key ("dot") channel select button doesn't work. Interestingly, this is how my original remote started to trigger button after button. I sent it back and will be looking for another replacement.
