This was the perfect storage solution for me. I live in a relatively small one bedroom apartment, and while I'm an avid movie buff, I just can't justify devoting so much space to storing my movies. I started looking for different options but I was pretty picky. I didn't want to keep my films in a folder because I wanted to keep the cover. I also checked out the DiscSox DVD Pro covers (available at Revain as well as The Container Store) but after seeing them in person I didn't like the way they looked and felt. I found them cheaper and didn't like the black trim on the side that said 'DiscSox'. I didn't want any advertising for the product. They have two sleeves - an outer sleeve that contains the artwork and an inner sleeve that contains two discs. One thing I noticed about this product was that the plastic bushings are reinforced around the edges. One of the other options I looked at didn't have this and people said it tears easily. They are great - seem very strong. The disc pockets are a little tight, but you just have to squeeze a little and they go in just fine. I'm okay with this because I believe it keeps the disks in place. The only downside to the packaging is that the small insert that covers the case doesn't stay in place. I don't think it matters much because I keep them all together in the bin anyway and they still look closed. As you can see in the picture, I had a storage tower that was full on both sides. I was able to take all these films and conveniently place them, leaving free space in the storage basket shown in the photo. At first I was a little hesitant to throw out the cardboard and bend the drawing, but once I started I really liked that I was able to save so much space. Movies still look great up their sleeves; Now they take up much less space! Another benefit is that now I can easily take them with me as they are so light weight and portable. One downside is that I don't really like how these cases match the Blu-ray. On the one hand, since Blu-ray cases are narrower, you can fit the entire edge of the image into the case without having to fold the sheet in half (which you have to do with DVDs). However, I don't like the fact that Blu-ray has quite a lot of empty cases at the top where the lid foil ends. I wish Atlantic would release another version of the same sleeves to fit the Blu-ray exactly. I definitely recommend these cases!
