I have had several pairs of Chaco sandals over the years, these sandals last a very long time. They are well done. The tread is ideal for slippery/sandy surfaces. The arch support is perfect, your feet don't sweat with the rubber sole (I live in the high desert where temperatures reach 115 so that can be an issue). I wear 5 or 6 depending on the type of shoe, I bought 5 and they fit perfectly. The straps weren't too loose or too tight (I have narrow feet so I was worried about splashing in them). There was no break-in period. I wear these shoes almost all year round. Highly recommended!
