I have an LTD Tweezerman 1/4" which is much better. I was looking to buy a second pair in case these need to be sent in for sharpening. I don't recommend 1/2 jaw - it's much wider than needed for the cuticle and awkward to use and get into tighter spaces. The handles are shorter and have a slightly different shape at the ends, with palm pain, even for a woman's hand. They're not as comfortable to use, but the blades themselves feel just as sharp and precise as the LTD's the first time you use them.
