I installed this on my '96 Corvette and although it works great I had to cut some plastic off the white connector to get it to snap into place. It's hard to explain, but the end of the kit's plug looks like two big C shapes, and the plug on my transmission was a big C and a small C shape. Just had to use a razor blade to snip off the shoulders on one side to fit. But otherwise it works great and I'm so glad that I no longer have to shift into 4th gear in the middle of an intersection. The light is still on, but you can easily shift into 2nd gear. Another quick thing, if you're like me and saw that there weren't any wires in a connector, well, after some thought, it actually is. should be. I'm assuming the wiring between them just has a resistor shorting itself out, so of course there's no actual connection there.
