While I love decent hi-fi, I've never expected too much from earphones. I rock my $9 Panasonic headphones and when they break; Be it. I wear them to exercise, to meditate, to sleep on the couch, to bed, to listen to audiobooks, and some have even submerged in the bath because I wasn't careful enough. They are practically disposable. I love my Beyerdynamic headphones, but I would never pay more than fifty dollars for earbuds. In defense of cheap headphones, some are really good. And honestly, I don't really miss her. They fit my ear, look good (I prefer black), the case works and is easy to use. These are solid headphones that produce clear sound. I hope this helps you decide
