Review on π Premium 10ft Monoprice Onyx Series TRS Audio Cable, 3.5mm Auxiliary - Black (118631) by Bubba Ott
No copper, no signal.
I used this as a signal to turn on the amplifier. pictures are deceptive. The outer portion of the wire starts at 20 gauge, the 3 inner wires were under 28 gauge. To be honest I didn't see any copper in the continuity test wires. There is no way to open the cork. I don't know how much cheaper they could build.

Very flexible BUT these cables are NOT shielded or the shield is very poor as it picks up 60Hz hum.
