Overall good quality, strong clamps and good grip, metal strength enough to hold heavier items. I think for most people just using them for their intended purpose on a pole in the closet they will work great. They are better quality in every way than the plastic trouser hangers that came from the store and started breaking, except those cheap plastic hangers swivel and these don't - I didn't realize how many times I hung. something in a door over a door frame or outside of a closet until I started using them and couldn't do it anymore. However, if you're just hanging things on a clothes rail (or doorknob) like a normal person, they work great and are good quality.
