That's exactly what I wanted. They are easy to wash and food doesn't roll on them.

I love doner kebabs and was looking for a skewer to use in my NuWave Primo oven that was longer than the ones I already have. They also fit perfectly in my Ninja Foodi Oven/Grill/Fryer. My Ninja Foodi Grill fits 6 loaded skewers. You can put enough on it that 1 or 2 servings of food will be enough for most people. I also wanted skewers that fit the rack of my NuWave oven and I can easily fit 6-8 of these on a 4 inch rack. One feature I really like is that these skewers are flat instead of round. Prevents food from rotating on skewers when rotating skewers full of food. The pointed end is sharp enough to pierce even tomatoes without breaking them. To clean them, I wipe them down, although food has never stuck to them, and put them in the dishwasher to sterilize. They come out shiny and ready for the next use. My favorite kebab includes overnight marinated tenderloin with rubs or spices and cut into 2-inch cubes, peppers cut into 2-inch cubes, onions cut into about 2-inch slices, large cherry tomatoes, and lightly fried bacon cut into quarters . Alternate ingredients on skewers and place on NuWave oven rack.Bake at 350Β°C 50/50 for 8 minutes. Serve with rice pilaf. This recipe is to die for and can be adapted for a different oven or cooking method. UPDATE 7/25/20: I've never had fish skewers before so I decided to cook them in my Ninja Foodi Grill Oven tonight. I used cod fillets, but any tough fish will do. The recipe is very simple and the result is stunning. - Mix 3/4 cup soy sauce, 3/4 cup lemon juice and 3/4 cup oil (I used olive oil) in a 1 liter bag. - Cut the fish fillet (I used 3 6 oz cod fillets), 1 red bell pepper, 1 green bell pepper and 1 large onion into 1 1/2 inch cubes or wedges and place with the marinade mixed with the previous one step into the bag. Leave the fish and vegetables to marinate for about 4 hours. - Alternating fish, vegetables and pineapple wedges and cherry tomatoes on the skewer. You can grill the skewers over medium-high heat for 3 minutes per side, or you can grill them. like I did on a Ninja Foodi Grill at 500 degrees for 4 minutes per side. I made 6 packaged kebabs from this recipe and I have all the leftovers. So this recipe easily fills about 10 kebabs. I've served this with a mix of quinoa, wild rice, and brown basmati rice that I cook and freeze ahead of time, and freeze leftovers to reheat in a wok or cast-iron skillet for a later meal. Food flips on it I like these skewers a lot They are the same length as Foodi ers skewers. I also use these skewers in my NuWave Primo grill oven and can fit more food skewers.
