Excellent Customer Service

This is my third CatPhone. Possibility to take the phone. Throwing it in wet manure, holding it under a faucet and brushing it with a toothbrush is great. If you make a living, this phone is for you. The screen is visible in sunlight. If it had stereo speakers that would be great. As with the previous models, the equipment of the S42 corresponds to the price. VoIP and VoWiFi worked straight away with my existing T-Mobile SIM. Switching from VoWiFi to VoIP is seamless. VoWiFi (which sends calls over the internet) is great as I live 15 miles from the nearest tower. No more dropped calls. I hope to use the handy second SIM slot once it's safe to travel abroad. I was concerned about the non-removable application (Wiko), which turned out to be malicious: immutable permissions include access to all files and sending emails to all contacts. , make calls, send text messages, etc. without notifying the user. After a thorough but unsuccessful web search, I emailed CatPhones customer support. They responded in less than 12 hours to let me know the app doesn't belong to them, but offered a solution. It likely came with a bunch of malware from Google when it was installed. For privacy reasons, I'm deleting all Google apps and replacing them with open source FDroid apps. For example, SimpleContacts stores your contacts in a file that other applications don't have access to, so they can't be stolen. Happy with the purchase. Too bad I couldn't afford the S61.
