Much more fragile than I remember as a kid
I bought four of these (2 Starfire Balsa Wood and 2 Jetstream Balsa Wood) for my kids. They're really thin, especially the rear end. I understand it's cork, but simply inserting a vertical stabilizer into the hull split it apart no matter how careful we were. After we stuck it on, the planes really didn't last. The maximum life of one of these aircraft was about an hour without wing splits, vertical or horizontal stabilizers. We have used them in our garden, I think if you just play with them in a lawn so they don't hit anything hard they would last longer.
