not what I expected
I should have read the description better. These boots close with Velcro which in itself is fine but the way the boots are laced it is difficult to tighten the boots to make them snug. With that said the boots seemed to be good quality and were nicely made I just didn't like the way they closed so returned them. I normally wear a 9-9 1/2 wide so I bought a 10 which was a little loose but with thick socks they would be perfect.
