I had read the previous review and expected the shirts to be larger. They're bigger than the average little ones, so that worked well for the little girls on the team. My daughter is 12 and wears a 10/12 and 14/16, so it's one size smaller. This small size suited her well. She won't be able to wear it next year, but this year it fits perfectly. The quality of the materials is also TOP. If you are looking for the perfect fit and quality these shirts are fantastic. If in doubt, increase the size. I used them to make shooting shirts for my daughter's baseball team of 6 and needed a size up for the taller girls. There wasn't much in stock back then. For the price and quality - WONDERFUL! I ordered a large to make the shirt a little bigger for a girl.
