Dramatically improves reception for shortwave radios with standard whip antenna

Use this with my CCrane Skywave and Tectun 880 radio Branch with clip or something around the house. Outside is always better. The combination of longer antenna length and a capacitor in series with the coil antenna definitely works for receiving distant shortwave stations. Not for the AM broadcast band on these radios as in this mode they are only connected to the internal ferrite antenna and not to the external whip antenna.
