Watched several videos to learn how to use this product to repair a bent caliper bolt hole. I drilled for at least 30 minutes with breaks, and in the end the drill stopped cutting. I'm not sure if it's faded or what, but I couldn't get through to the piece. Eventually I gave up and switched to a faucet as my replacement screw needed to be shorter. The problem with the sling was that its head was too big to fit in one of my three cranks and it was too big for any of the auto parts stores or Low's. I tried pliers but it didn't work. When I pressed down on the faucet with most of my weight while spinning to cut, the filament still wouldn't spin. Huge waste of time and money. If it were a softer metal, then maybe.
